Americans Shinnimin Named WHL West Player of Year
The Tri-City Americans Brendan Shinnimin has been named the WHL Western Conference playerr of the year and will be the conference's candidate for WHL player of the year.
Shinnimin wom the WHL regular season scoring title with 58 goals and 134 points. He is the first Americans player to win the award since Colton Yellow Horn in 2007-2008.
Americans co-owner Stu Barnes is the only Ams player to win the overall league award, which he did in 1988-89.
