The Tri City Americans again reach Game 7 in a series with the Spokane Chiefs, after losing Game 6 in overtime 4 to 3.

The Americans jumped to an early lead in the 1st period with a Derek Ryckman goal.  But the Chiefs answered with 2 quick goals soon after.  In the 2nd period, the teams traded goals, until Patrick Holland scored the equalizer on a breakaway.  The 3rd period was scoreless, leading to overtime.

Ten minutes into overtime, the Chiefs were able to get the puck down the ice with some unorthodox passing, leading to a chipshot from Liam Stewart for the game winner.  (Yes, rocker Rod Stewart and Model Rachel Hunter's son)

The series is now tied at 3 games, leading to game 7 in Kennewick, Wednesday night at 7:05pm.
