Ben Franklin Transit Starting Prosser Wine Service
Ben Franklin Transit is introducing a bus service that will take people from the Tri-Cities into Prosser for the day to enjoy wine and restaurants.
The service is a small experiment that the Tri-Cities bus system is trying out to see if it is popular enough to add permanently.
Riders will catch the bus at the Knight Street Transit Center in Richland at 10:30 A.M.
While in Prosser, the bus will loop around five different stops every half an hour to give visitors the opportunity to see different Prosser hot spots.
A bus going back to the Tri-Cities will leave Prosser at 5:00 P.M., and riders will be home just after 7:00 P.M.
Riders can buy normal, day passes for the service which cost $3.50 until June 1st, then the pass will go up to $4.00.
