Walla Walla Stabbing Suspect Pleads Guilty

A woman accused of stabbing an 18-year-old woman to death in the Blue Mountain Mall parking lot pleaded guilty to second degree murder on Thursday.
Angela Effinger, 30, was accused of stabbing Audrey Brewer in the neck in a fight over a boyfriend in September.
Brewer later died at St. Mary Medical Center.
Effinger was originally charged with first degree murder and was due in court in two weeks for a trial, but instead chose to take the prosecutor's plea deal; which could send her to jail for atleast ten years.
Effinger's lawyer read a statement court stating that she is not guilty of the charge because she did not intend to kill Brewer, but understands her actions and accepted the deal.
