Hotel Donates Mattresses To Community
The Ledgestone Hotel in Yakima is receiving some thank you cards after donating seventy mattresses to people in the community. The donation began in August and the mattresses were quickly given away within a couple of weeks. Catholic Charities, Yakima County Veteran and Sunrise Outreach are just a few of the agencies that received these beds.
Sunrise outreach says there is a very high need for beds by those who can't afford them and receives up to three calls a day from people asking for them.
