Woman Stabbed in Forearm During Fight
Yakima Police say a 36-year-old woman was stabbed in the forearm during a fight Tuesday night. The victim was reportedly standing in front of a house on the 300 block of South 9th Street with another man when it happened. The male witness says a 24-year-old woman confronted the victim and the two got in a fight. The suspect then pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the forearm. The suspect left the scene on a bicycle after. She was arrested by Police about one hour later and booked into the Yakima county jail on a charge of first degree assault.
The victim was taken to Yakima Regional Medical Center.
