For the second year in a row, the Tri-Cities ranks number five in the best performing metropolitan areas in the United States.
The report released by the Milken Institute ranks cities based job growth, wage and salary growth, and technology. For the past two years the Tri-Cities ranks number one in job growth.
The top five best performing cities are Killeen-Temple-Ft. Hood, Texas, Austin-Round Rock, Texas, Huntsville, Alabama, McAllen-Edinburg-Mission, Texas, and Kennewick-Richland-Pasco, Washington.
