KAPP/KVEW TV INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
The intern program at KAPP and KVEW TV is designed to provide students a practical learning experience in the broadcasting industry.
Interns must be students of Junior or Senior status, enrolled in a 4-year, 2-year, Technical school or High School communications or video production class. While the internship is tailored to the student's area of interest, interns will be encouraged to experience other aspects of the company/industry as well.
Generally, interns will be required to perform tasks that another staff member regularly performs. Occasionally, "paid" interns are accepted, who will work in place of a regular paid staff, on a fill-in basis. In such cases, the intern/employee will be paid entry-level wages, for part-time hours. There will be no health insurance or other benefits granted during these internships. Interns or intern/employees are not entitled to a position with KAPP or KVEW Television upon completion of the internship.
